Why NCET PYQs Matter & How to Solve Them

What are NCET PYQs?

NCET PYQs are previous year question sets from the National Common Entrance Test for ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Programme) B.Ed admissions, covering both Non-Domain subjects (Language, Communication, Teaching Aptitude, General Test) and Domain subjects (History, Geography, Psychology, Maths, and more).

Why are NCET PYQs important for exam preparation?

PYQs show the actual difficulty level, question style and topic weightage the NCET exam repeats year after year. Instead of guessing what to study, solving previous papers tells you exactly which topics are asked most often, how questions are framed, and where most candidates lose marks — making your revision far more targeted than studying from notes alone.

How should you solve NCET PYQs effectively?

Attempt each subject’s PYQ set like a timed mock rather than an open-book exercise — this builds the speed you’ll need on exam day. After solving, review every wrong answer to understand the concept behind it, not just the correct option. Keep a simple log of topics you repeatedly get wrong across papers, and revise those first. Repeating the same PYQ set after a week is also a fast way to check whether a weak topic has actually improved.

Are all 19 subjects available right now?

Subject pages are being published one at a time. A filled circle next to a subject means its PYQ set is live; an empty circle means it’s in progress. Check back regularly as new subjects are added.
